 Sweet and Sour Chicken is a classic dish that combines crispy chicken pieces with a tangy and flavorful sauce. It's perfect served over rice or noodles.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken breast (1 pound, cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • Bell pepper (1, diced)
  • Pineapple chunks (1 cup)
  • Soy sauce (1/4 cup)
  • Rice vinegar (1/4 cup)
  • Ketchup (1/4 cup)
  • Brown sugar (2 tablespoons)
  • Cornstarch (2 tablespoons)
  • Olive oil (for frying)

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar, and cornstarch. Set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and cook chicken pieces until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Add bell pepper and pineapple to the skillet; stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables, stirring to coat everything evenly.
  5. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens. Serve hot.
